RAFA NADAL, 10 in Barcelona

Rafael Nadal defeated Austria's Dominic Thiem 6-4, 6-1 to win his 10th career title at the Barcelona Open on Sunday.

The Spaniard won a 10th title in an ATP tournament for a second consecutive week. He became the first tennis player of the modern era to win the Monte-Carlo Masters 10 times last Sunday.

It was also the second title of Nadal this season, and his 71st career. The Spaniard, the fifth-ranked player in the world, lost in three previous appearances - including the one against Roger Federer at the Australian Open.

He will try next month to get a 10th career title at the French Open. Nadal had won the last of his 14 Grand Slam titles three years ago in Paris.

We hope that he will be in shape for Roland Garros. #GoRafa
